Kimberly Glatt is a lifelong Hoboken resident. She graduated from Douglass College at Rutgers University with a degree in economics and went on to receive her law degree from New York Law School.
After law school, Kimberly returned to Hoboken and worked as an attorney in the Hudson Country Prosecutor’s Office. She then co-founded a private law practice in Hoboken, which she successfully managed until her appointment as Hoboken’s first presiding female municipal judge. Kimberly resigned as Hoboken’s presiding judge after 14 years of service to open her own firm, The Law Offices of Kimberly K. Glatt, LLC.
Currently, Kimberly is partner in the Yacker Glatt, LLC. Law Firm along with attorney Jay Yacker. Kimberly brings over 20 years of legal experience to the firm. Her areas of practice include criminal, personal injury, real estate and family law.
Jay B. Yacker Esq.: Born and raised in New York, Jay Yacker graduated from the State University of New York College at Brockport. Following graduation, Jay went on to receive his law school degree from New York Law School.
After law school, Jay was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1989 and the New York Bar in 1990. In addition, he is a member of the Federal Bar of the District Courts of New Jersey and New York since 1990, and the Supreme Court of the United States since 2005. Jay is also a municipal prosecutor in Jersey City, New Jersey for 25 years.
Jay is nominated by his peers for the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, AV Preeminent. The AV Preeminent level is the highest rating accomplishment, which indicates that Jay’s peers rank him at the utmost level of professional excellence.
Currently, Jay is partner at the Yacker Glatt Law Firm along with attorney Kimberly Glatt. Prior to starting the Yacker Glatt Law Firm, he was partner at Dario and Yacker, LLC. Jay brings over 25 years of legal experience to the firm. His areas of practice include civil litigation, real estate, criminal law, and personal injury.
Andrew was born and raised in Lodi, graduating from Lodi High School in 1978. In 1982, he graduated Rutgers College in New Brunswick with a B.A. in Economics. In 1985, he graduated from Rutgers School of Law in Newark and became a member of the New Jersey Bar.
Andrew began his career working as counsel for a defense litigation firm, representing clients such as Supermarkets General Corporation [Pathmark], CIGNA and Alexis Claims Management. He then worked at two personal injury firms prior to forming the partnership of Cimiluca & Frank in 1991, located in Clifton. The firm was a general practice firm, with an emphasis on personal injury and worker’s compensation matters. As a member of the firm and later as a solo practitioner, Andrew handled a variety of matters, including personal injury, workers compensation, real estate, criminal defense, zoning applications, will preparations and landlord/tenant cases. Andrew was also retained to represent several members of the Clifton and Passaic Police Departments in defense of allegations of civil rights violations and assault charges.
Andrew has served as counsel to the Zoning Board of Adjustment for Saddle Brook and Garfield and as Public Defender in Clifton. He was appointed as special litigation counsel for the Borough of Dumont and the City of Hackensack. He was appointed as counsel to the Board of Health in East Rutherford, where he continues to serve as Municipal Prosecutor, where he handles all matters arising out of the Meadowlands Sports Complex. Andrew also currently serves as Municipal Prosecutor for the Central Bergen Municipal Court, where he handles all matters involving the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department, Bergen County Police Department and Bergen County Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. He has been appointed as Alternate Municipal Prosecutor for the Closter, Edgewater, Leonia and Tenafly Municipal Courts.
Andrew was elected to the Saddle Brook Township Council in 2008 and was re-elected in 2012. He was elected on 2 occasions to serve as Township Council President.
Thomas D. Glatt is a graduate of Rutgers University and The Western Michigan University Cooley School of Law. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar. His areas of practice are personal injury and criminal law.
Richard A. Foster, Of Counsel with the firm, is a graduate of Seton Hall University where he majored in Political Science and minored in English. As an undergraduate, he participated in a summer long internship program with INTERPOL at the U.S. Department of Justice. Mr. Foster earned his law degree from the Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. As a law student, Mr. Foster served as a summer law clerk intern in the State of Rhode Island Superior Court with the Honorable William A. Dimitri, Jr. (deceased) and participated in a Comparative Advocacy Study Abroad Program in London, England. Following law school, Mr. Foster served as a judicial law clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court, Law Division, Criminal Part, Sussex County with the Honorable N. Peter Conforti, J.S.C. (retired). After he completed his clerkship, Mr. Foster was associated with the law firms of Robinson Burns, LLC in Bridgewater, New Jersey and The Brennan Law Firm in Cranbury, New Jersey. Mr. Foster is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York, the District of Columbia and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. His experience includes personal injury, complex civil litigation matters, environmental and toxic tort litigation, commercial litigation, insurance defense litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.
